I have a Viewsonic 19 inch monitor. When I install the viewsonic drivers my OS gets messed up.?

I had to reinstall the WIndows OS all over again. If I don't install the drivers monitor is in an Analog mode. I get pissed off since I have spent 16000 bucks to buy a new Viewsonic monitor and using it in an Analog mode.
My OS corrupted thrice when i installed viewsonic drivers and started using Viewsonic in the Digital mode.
Any suggestions would be helpful for me.

Are you downloading the drivers manually? If you are, make sure you have the exact ones.
The best way is to run it in analog and wait for windows update to get the driver for you.
