@corndogers564 I’ve listened to alot of different monitors and i wouldn’t put these at the top of my list. Monitors like KRK RP6 G2 ROKIT and the
Truth B2030P Studio Monitors are way better for only a little more. Had I known what I know now I would have paid the extra money to get either of these. Not that my monitors are bad, its just not as good as those two.
@Blindkite Thx man appreciate it!
@Blindkite Would you say these studio monitors reproduce sound like the higher priced professional monitors? Are they accurate for mixing and monitoring? I’ve been looking into these for a while now.
@corndogers564 I bought these awhile back when retail was still 199.99
How did you end up paying $200 for the studiophile av40 when I see them everywhere online for $149? I think you may have been ripped off.
@MajinFrahma I use them more so for detail while i’m building beats and mastering. I get a better range of sound out of them verses regular speakers.
I your going to just listen to music, they’re pretty good for picking up sounds that average speakers tend to leave out. Also, placement is key. I keep my monitors high because i’m usually standing when i’m listening to them. That’s one thing you definitely want to take into consideration.
Great studio.
Are monitors good for listening to music with?
@biggang008 i’m not using a special sound. All I have is the integrated soundcard that came with it.
what kind of sound card you using ?
you should put those av 40s face level and the logitechs up above !
@YungxP It took a week to reach their distribution center in California. It would only have taken three days more to reach me if I was at a physical stateside address. Since I have an armed forces address it took a whole month to reach me.
Did You Order The Editor Keys Vocal Booth?
If You Did How Long Did It Take
hello I need help I have a look and monitors xennyx1002 M-AUDIO AV40 and not how to connect the monitors to xennyx1002 can help me and put a toturial thanks and I really like your home studio
Finally someone who understands quality
I love it. Clean, simple, organized. Forget all that mac shit, PC does just as good if your smart.
I’ve been using PC since I can remember for music and I haven’t have any issues. I find that it really depends on you cpu set up. I’ve compared my set up to a mac plenty of times, and I’ve found the for my style a Mac wouldn’t cut it. I’ve used Cubase, FL Studio, and Reason all of which have worked flawlessly on PC. For the me the cost just isn’t worth it.
man u shoulda got a apple i find its a more stable for working on mixing its worth the cost
Thanks! It has pretty much everything I need.
nice setup
