I have a 19" lcd monitor for my computer with a vga input only. I have a cable that is composite HD conections to VGA (red, blue, green, yellow, white to VGA). When i connect them i can get a picture but it looks like a night vision lense (way to much green). Why is this? And is there any way i can get this to work?

Wrong cable.
While YPbPr is similar to VGA, it is NOT the same signal. Which is why you got that wierd image.
You should be using the purpose-built Microsoft XBox HDAV VGA cable (sold-separately) to connect your XBox 360 to your monitor. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbox360vgahdcable/
