Hi guys, This is a recent benchmark of my current system using Bio Hazard 5 (Resident Evil 5). I just got this game, and would love to play it as well
)) Average FPS on my 19" monitor (1360 X 768) is 226.1FPS (Sorry I don't have a high resolution pc monitor at this time) My Current Rig: Quad Core AMD Phenom II X4 720BE (OC 3.6GHz) Big Shuriken Heatsink & Cooler Master Fan Gigabyte MA790X-UD4P Motherboard 6 GB ADATA DDR2 800 MHz Crossfire 2 Sapphire ATI HD 5770 1 GB GDDR5 (850/1200MHz) Western Digital 500 GB 7200 rpm Pioneer DVD-R/RW Multimedia Card Reader 550 Watt Modular PSU GMC H-80 Case

@lastmoh1989 : Yes, because one is master and one is slave. Master card will always run hotter. That’s why I switch my 1st gen 5770 (closed cooler) to become a slave. 2nd gen has an open design cooler.
@lastmoh1989 : Well, it’s your built, but have fun anyway building your system. Hope you can share it as well, it will be more fun
i just found out that in crossfire the Gram doesn’t add up , that’s emplane why on card is hot and the other is cold
You are right .
but as you can see from the parts. i thought about the system for long time . i chose 2x 5770 512mg
because
1- they are really cheap
2- 2x 5770 512mg out preform 5850.
3- some games doesn’t support crossfire but they are old any way , so one 5770 will run them fine.
5- the Asus HD 5770 512MB is an open design so it will run cooler .
6- my motherboard is an expensive one and it is made for Crossfire so both cards will run on x16 .
7-i want to try crossfire , it sounds fun
@lastmoh1989: Nice parts you have chosen there. But just a little recommendation since you plan to purchase 2 5770s at once, I would recommend just buy one single high performance card instead like 5850. I think it is a better choice.
i am very exited
5- Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P 790FX Socket AM3 DDR3 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard
6- CM Storm Scout + Coolermaster Silent Pro 700W Modular PSU *Special Offer Bundle*
7-(two in crossfire ) Asus HD 5770 512MB GDDR5 DVI VGA HDMI Out PCI-E Graphics Card
8- Acer X203 20″ Widescreen LCD Monitor 1600×900 50,000:1 (Dynamic) 5ms VGA – Black
9- CorsairR CWCH50-1 Water Cooler
now i am collecting money to buy the system’s parts.and i will build it after my collage exams .but here what i chose :
1- G-Skill 4GB (2×2GB) DDR3 1600MHz/PC3-12800 Ripjaw Memory Kit CL7(7-8-7-24) 1.65V
2- AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2 GHz Socket AM3 8MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor
3- Samsung SpinPoint F1 HD103UJ 1TB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm 32MB Cache – OEM
4- Samsung SH-S223 22X DVD±RW/RAM/DL Serial ATA Black Bare Drive – OEM
lastmoh1989: Great! please make a video and upload it to your channel. I’d like to see your system too =))
i am planning build a gaming rig Similar to yours .
Yes indeed, so far I am quite satisfied
I use the drivers from Sapphire official website 10.2 and hotfix. I also added the catalyst application profiles for crossfire. It’s all from sapphire website
)
