Wonderful colors and nice design. I m using it as a second monitor for my laptop and it really is making the difference. For a reasonable price, too!
I needed a small monitor for my Mac mini that had a nice picture. I would say this one had a nice image for the price but it was good for even more money than Amazon wanted. This is a really good screen. Very bright and crisp image.
We moved a few months ago, and it made no sense to haul two 75 lb tube-type monitors to the new home. Those went to a local charity, and once we arrived at our new house we purchased two of these 19 inch Asus LCD monitors through Amazon. I was a little bit concerned about what the image quality would be since our computers don’t have display adapters with DVI output. However, even using the standard VGA port, the image quality is far above what we had with the old tube-type monitors. Also, it was great to de-clutter the desktop even more by getting rid of the old speakers and using the ones that are built into these LCD monitors. You get plenty of sound to play back audio and video clips, but if you are into wall-shaking loud bass for video games or pop music, you will want more than what these little built-in speakers can provide.

Define Moderate Gaming please?
There is no listing anywhere by that terminology.
A laptop that could be classified as being for Gaming is one that has a processor faster than 2.4ghz, and has an ATI or Nvidia GPU with dedicated memory. If you want to know more specifically if a laptop will be able to play the games you want to play, is for you to look up the SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS for each game you want to play, then find a laptop that meets those system specs. If you expect to be able to purchase a laptop and have it play ANY game you want, you must then expect to pay a premium price for it.
I mean, take a look at the Custom Laptops that Falcon Northwest offers. Go ahead and build yourself a custom Fragbook. Notice that you can expect to pay in excess of $5000 for it. But it will be a gaming laptop, AND you can customize how the shell looks.
If you don't like the look of the gaming series laptops that Asus offers, then look through their other laptops for one that meets the specs you need for the games you want to play. Or, consider getting a Toshiba Qosmio X500 series, since it is also a gaming platform.

No the 22″ has a finer dot pitch, the same details are there, but the monitor is designed to viewed from close up, while your TV isn’t. Also playing games on a 32″ screen from less than two feet away isn’t good for you.
