i ahve a X193w and i see very small lined while watching youtube videos and i have a green pixel square that is see through in the address bar and internet toolbar and it did this after i cleaneed it with water plus vinegar and a towel?? can someone help me
Should have used one part water to one part rubbing alcohol and a microfiber cloth. I.E. one cap of alcohol and one cap water. Then dip the microfiber cloth in the mixture, make sure its not dripping, then go over the monitor. You may be SOL with the monitor.

There should be a Fn + F? key combo that will switch between laptop display / laptop + external display / external display.
check the logos on your F keys for something that looks like a display. OR check your user guide.

I have to say, having McAfee SiteAdvisor enabled is a great help (even if it does occasionally flag something red that shouldn’t be)… What isn’t so helpful, sigh: The otherwise-very-good computer/tech columnist at the SF Chronicle, who consistently says “Oh, you don’t really need computer security software any more, as long as you have a firewall and use common sense.” Arggh…

This is a trick that's very dependent on the game itself. If the game is going "full screen" then your video card will not render anything else except the game (leaving any secondary monitors blank). However, some games (such as World of Warcraft) allow you to run the game in a "windowed" mode that's maximized to use the whole screen. This shows up as a "windowed" video game to the video card, and therefore it will render your start menu and other Windows elements, but it will be sized to take up your whole screen and it will not have a boarder.
This sort of mode seems almost entirely designed for people with multiple monitors that wish to make use of secondary monitors while gaming (or span the game across multiple screens).
Of course, this is only available in select games. Try playing around with display options in your game. Look for windowed modes, they're your best option. See if there might be some sort of "hack" you can do to make it display in a maximized window. Check the game's forums or do a google search.

You need to first uninstall your monitor drivers. Right click on My Computer, choose properties, click on the Hardware Tab, and then choose device Manager. After that look for the monitor category click the plus sign and right click to uninstall everyone listed under the plus sign that is now a minus sign.
Is it an LCD or a CRT? If it is an LCD it is a good deal.
of course it is normal; the components are all new. some are working at high temperatures, as there is a lot of power that passes through them. as they become hotter, the volatile fractions of either the plastic covers, the cooling grease and/or the paint that is directly in contact with their body evaporates and you can smell them. it will pass in a few hours/days of functioning.
