Statistics Filter: Given a small sample of test data, how can I derive a conservative estimate of the 95% confidence interval around my sample mean as it would apply to the whole population? I have about 10 tests that were conducted on a sample material. The test was to apply a flame promoter to a sample of a particular configuration and then measure the burn length of the sample. The test was conducted in the same way for 10 samples of a material that were in the same configuration. The burn lengths varied from test-to-test. From that data, what can I now say about any other sample of the material in the same configuration and subjected to the same test? Or rather, how do I calculate the 95% confidence interval around the mean of my test results (burn lengths) so I can call it an estimate of my population mean? Note: I took 1 class in Engineering Statistics in College, and I got a C.

Better believe I said yes to the being harassed & gave information as to why I was being harassed & that I had taken measures to protect myself but to my knowledge it was still going on. i think that teenagers should have as much privacy as they say they need because if your mom or dad is ALWAYS snooping around and spying on you, then you're going to start to get really bugged by them, and youll feel that you need to hide everythign from them

There are ways to stop the listing of your site in google or other search engines via meta tags and other methods.
Other than that, if you dont want your name to show up in a search engine like google, just dont sign up to public sites that list your name like facebook and myspace. If you want to protect your privicy on facebook, there are settings for it.
Quite frankly, this topic could go on forever. You ALWAYS have a choice over what info about yourself is displayed on the web so there really are NO privicy issues unless you create them.
