Suggest me a best Graphics Card for 1440*900 resolution for my Viewsonic 19″ monitor?

I think ati 4770 or 4850 is enough but Im in a dilemma. I game a lot n Im planning to buy this week so hurry up... Im tempted to buy 4870 but im not sure is it necessary for this resolution? I dont ve any plan to change my monitor for at least 2 years...
My Processor is AMD 64x2 5600+ only n PSU is Cooler Master extreme power 600 Watts n max resolution is 1440*900, with this can I go for 4870, I think it is not good for 4870.. How about u guys?
Is 1GB 4850 is needed for this resolution, I thought 512 MB is sufficient?
